The key challenge of the Program has included a key objective of Poor and vulnerable families, especially women and youth, enjoying their right to an adequate standard of living. In this context, 28 poorest youth including young women (148) belonging to 56 rural communities of the respective tehsils will be targeted/accessed to provide employable skills to improve their social and economic position. The main challenge was to have access to youth-friendly micro finance schemes, quality and market-driven vocational and technical training, Life skills and enterprise development training to pursue economic occupations on a self-employment or paid employment basis. Local communities and parents recognize and encourage youth, particularly young women, to become socially and economically active members of society.
